A family company
I cannot state that my company has an evolved industrial approach, based on large numbers, where every project is taken into
consideration only if it represents a certain “percentage” gain, or a definite business deal.
This incipit may seem silly to most people, as it would be more acceptable to produce an item, place it on the market and have
an immediate success in terms of sales, but I would still like to hope that the imagination of us Italians has not been lost altogether and that our creativity can triumph again as it did in the past when family-run businesses managed to astonish markets all over the world by offering ever innovative products, with a high aesthetic appeal and the highest levels of quality.
However, this type of company no longer seems to be successful, probably due to a market which is increasingly pursuing low prices to the detriment of quality products, but perhaps some of the responsibility lies with entrepreneurs who aren’t what they used to be.
We have all lost our creativity and have filled this void with clones of objects already on the market, which are nothing but an alternative price, obviously more convenient.
This is not entrepreneurship, but merely the fear of making mistakes which induces us to take the fastest route and the cheapest one while we’re at it, but also the one which lacks innovation the most.
My brothers and I, bound by the same intent, after several years of business and promoting our products, grouped together under the “CARMELI” brand, have gained enough insight and experience to come to the conclusion that we will never be able to accept a “creature” (product) which does not comply with our aesthetic/qualitative expectations.
We know full well that this penalises us at times, but the pride in seeing something beautiful we have created and that our customers approve of is too great, as is the passion we put into our work…
So there!! Our Family Company, albeit not set up for large numbers, defends itself in promoting ever new ideas and solutions within everyone’s reach.
The fear of making a mistake remains, it accompanies us day in day out, but the desire to make new things which our customers may like is stronger, ready to overcome the obstacles that arise along our path…
My heartfelt thanks go to the Italian and foreign companies that immediately believed in me and in my projects from the onset, from the very first ideas discussed on their premises when we met up.
Thank you for having supported something in which I believe, something which absorbs the most part of my life and which I love.
Thank you for putting your trust in me; my hope, and that of my co-workers, is to accommodate every request and to solve all the problems that may arise during our healthy business relationship.
In conclusion, I would like to reiterate my thanks to those who follow me and wish them all an ever improving economic and commercial future...
Carmeli Giampaolo
